Kurt Vanneste and Nathalie De Pauw are responsible for the personal information handled through Memorable Moments, the website for Casa Canto de Pajaros and Casa 24.

When you ask about a stay
The form asks for your name, email address, dates and number of guests. Your telephone number and message are optional. Please do not include passport details, payment information or sensitive personal information in the message.
We use these details to answer you, check the dates and prepare a quote. This is processing at your request before a possible rental agreement. Required fields let us respond to a useful, complete enquiry; you can also email us directly.
The enquiry includes the house, language, page, referring website and any campaign tags present in the link you used, along with the availability check result. This context helps us handle requests and understand how people find the houses. We rely on our legitimate interest in managing and improving enquiries. It is separate from Google Analytics and is sent with the form, not as a record of your browsing history.
The website does not confirm bookings, take payments or make automated decisions about whether you can stay. Nathalie reviews enquiries personally. An enquiry is not a subscription to marketing emails.
How long we keep enquiries
We keep an enquiry open while we are discussing a possible stay. If it does not become a booking, our policy is to delete the conversation from our enquiry inbox 30 days after we close it. This is a household deletion routine, not an automatic website function.
Confirmed booking correspondence and records are handled separately for the stay, applicable record-keeping obligations and any related claims. The 30-day rule does not cover these records.
Web3Forms, our form provider, is configured to keep submission copies for up to three years from the date they are sent, unless they are deleted earlier. This is separate from our email inbox. Deleting an email does not delete the provider’s copy.
Optional website statistics
Google Analytics only loads after you accept analytics cookies, or if you previously accepted and that choice is still valid. Declining does not stop you browsing or sending an enquiry. You can withdraw through Cookie settings; this stops collection by our integration and removes its analytics cookies from this browser.
If you accept, we measure page visits, with basic device and approximate location information. Our integration removes query strings and page fragments from the page address and limits referring addresses. We do not send form entries, stay dates, names, email addresses, telephone numbers or messages to Analytics. Advertising personalization, Google Signals, detailed location/device collection and automatic contact-data detection are disabled.
Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_J58FTJKTMV) are configured for up to 180 days, without automatic renewal on each visit. User-level and event-level retention in Analytics is two months, with reset on new activity off. Standard aggregated reports are not governed by that retention setting. Withdrawal does not automatically erase previously collected data.
Analytics is based on your consent. It is not anonymous browsing: Google processes technical information to provide the service. Localhost previews do not send any data to Google Analytics.
Services used by this website
Hostinger hosts the website. Web3Forms processes form submissions and delivers them to our email inbox. These services receive the technical information needed to handle a request, such as an IP address and browser information. Web3Forms also uses infrastructure and spam-screening providers described in its privacy policy.
The fonts and map software are hosted with this website, so loading them does not contact Google Fonts or unpkg. When you approach the location section, your browser requests map tiles from OpenStreetMap. That service receives connection details such as your IP address. These map requests are separate from Google Analytics and are not switched off by declining analytics cookies.
We use these services to display and operate the website, deliver your enquiry and protect against abuse. The relevant purposes are responding to your request and our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website. External links take you to services with their own privacy information.
Processing outside the EEA
Some service providers process information outside the European Economic Area. Web3Forms operates from India and describes international infrastructure and standard contractual clauses in its data processing agreement. Google describes its transfer safeguards, including applicable adequacy frameworks and standard contractual clauses, in its published information.
You can contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data, including how to obtain a copy.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access or correct your personal information, or request its deletion. Depending on the circumstances, you can also request a portable copy, restrict processing or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Use Cookie settings for future Analytics collection, or email us about information already handled. We may need to confirm your identity before fulfilling a request.
You may complain to a data protection authority, including the Belgian Data Protection Authority or Spain’s AEPD, or the authority where you live or work. You do not have to contact us first. We will update this page if our practices change.
